Mackenzie Health is pleased to share the 2013/14 Community Report entitled 50 Years of Caring. The report profiles the many innovations, investments and changes we have made over the past year in our mission to “relentlessly improve care to create healthier communities.”

Highlights of the past year include:

  • partnering with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre to enhance access to highly specialized tertiary and quaternary services for people in York Region,
  • achieving a number of milestones toward the construction of the new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital, to begin in 2015, and
  • creating an Innovation Unit, a first-in-Canada project which features a unique integration of advanced technologies that transforms the delivery of care.
