The latest Canadian Stroke Best Practice Recommendations for Acute Inpatient Stroke Care will be published soon in the International Journal of Stroke. There have been some changes with implications for your practice. This session will highlight:

  • care of the stroke patient after endovascular therapy
  • updates in care for the patient who had a hemorrhagic stroke
  • implications of the results of the AVERT trial for early mobilization
  • the impact of results of the CLOTS trials for venous thromboembolism prophylaxis
